BIOGRAPHY

Xinge Zhang is a Senior Research Officer at the National Research Council of Canada, based in Calgary, Alberta, with over 30 years of experience in materials engineering, chemical processing, and electrochemical processing. He leads research and development programmes across solid oxide fuel cells, metal-air batteries, H₂ production, CO₂ conversion, and lithium-ion battery cathodes.

Xinge's current research focuses on electrochemical lithium extraction from domestic brine resources, alongside functional materials including catalysts, electro-ceramic materials, and their component fabrication.
