Takuya Kaseyama is the Team Leader of the Lithium Project at Niihama Research Laboratories, Sumitomo Metal Mining Co., Ltd. He specializes in mineral processing and has five years of on-site experience at copper mines in South America, bringing practical field knowledge to advanced research and development.

Takuya currently leads R&D on Direct Lithium Extraction, focusing on improving lithium adsorbent materials and optimizing process design to enhance lithium recovery and selectivity from brines and other resources.
