BIOGRAPHY

Gregg Smith is founder of Grounded Lithium, launched in 2020, where he brings his deep expertise to the emerging lithium-from-brine industry. With over 35 years of experience in oil and gas, he has a proven track record of driving production growth and leading high-performing technical teams.

Gregg previously served as COO of Petrobank’s Canadian Business Unit and PetroBakken, where he oversaw production increases from 2,000 to over 50,000 BOEPD. In 2009, he was recognized as Saskatchewan Oilman of the Year for his leadership in the Bakken play.
